John's Carving

I carve.sculptures and furniture for a living, this saw has been through it's paces by now and has run 50+ tanks so far. It still fires on the second pull, and idles on the third.

I have had to adjust the idle screw twice so far to slow down a fast idle after break in. I have it idling at 2800. I have this saw tuned to run at 12,800 WoT with a 15 bar and chain which is surprisingly fast. The saw has the torque to power through 14 limb wood without bogging down much at all.

i intend to report back after 250 tanks and so on. So far so good!

really impressed me how much power this little saw has will buy from this company again.

Nice little saw, I've put 3-4 gallons of gas through it in the last few months mostly clearing brush/ dead birch trees on my property and am very impressed for the price. I tried it out in some hardwood too and it cut well. It has decent power and seems to be well made so far.

Had previously bought the Holtzfforma clone of the Husky 372. That saw runs and cuts very well so I purchased this one. Shipping took a few weeks. Everything arrived in good shape including the bar and chain I also bought. Went together well although the chain is a tight fit behind the sprocket. Started and ran very well. Oiler takes a while to start pumping but works fine. Saw is light and nimble, cuts well. Have only made a few test cuts but all looks good so far. I'm happy!

Great saw!! , I have bought three everyone see it wants one .all fired right up and ran flawlessly had to adjust carb but that is expected, I would definitely buy again.

This little buddy screams! Climbed two oak trees and limbed them on the way up. Topped it and used a bigger saw to cut her off at the base! I cannot be more happy with this saw and the 12 inch bar and chain I also purchased from this site. Saw has enough power I am prolly going to starting running a 14 inch bar on it. I actually think it kills my Echo cs-310. That is running a 14in bar and has been broken in. This puppy is still coming alive and runs like crazy!

I've used this saw a few times around my backyard now and I love it. It has really good power considering it's small size and light weight. It's the perfect saw to use for limbing downed branches and cutting through the smaller to medium sized branches while still on the tree. I use this thing one handed 90% of the time unless I get a bigger branch. I live at high elevation too (6,700') and the saw rarely lacks for power unless I try to go too fast on larger pieces.

It starts very easily and doesn't seem easily flooded. I did replace the spark plug it came with from the factory to an NGK as I have the best performance with them. Quality of the saw seems great for the price, but the spark plug wire is a chintzy affair that will pull apart on you trying to get it off the plug. Easy enough to get back together though and for the low price not unexpected. The only adjustment I made to the carb was to turn the idle up a bit. No changes were needed to either the low or high as it runs perfect.

Overall I highly recommend this saw at this time and unless it falls apart on me. If it does I'll update my review.

I purchased this saw about a month ago works great, definitely will be making further purchases if this little puppy holds up.

This little saw is amazing! Purchased this to be a second saw. It has awesome power and does not wear you out.

Kenworthy R. Kauffman

The product seems equal to Stihl bar and chain.

I was impressed the quality, when I un-boxed the power head. I purchased for the lady of the house, She loves it. Ran good out of the box. Judith won't let me use it. Going to have to get my own.

Fast shipping got it in 7 days I love this little saw very light and impressive power for such a little saw.

Purchased this saw after purchasing the G5800. Very satisfying and impressed as I was with the G5800. Used it to limb out two storm damaged (up rooted) pin tree's with 4 inch limbs. Amazing power limbing out the 23 inch diameter tree's. So impressed I also decided to order the G4500 so I can retire my useless stihl ms250 that will seldom start let alone idle and I have taken to stihl dealer for years and still won't run right. I will keep doing business with farmertec!

I love my puppy

Great little saw cuts great runs excellent

It took two weeks to get to Kansas, the flooding delayed it a couple days. I've put about 5 hours cutting time on it no problems. The more I used it the more power it gained. Starts great and will be buying another.

Steve Nelson

Assembled saw easily and it ran well. Nice and lightweight. ..oiler works too..only problem was a foam pad inside airfilter housing that kept it from snapping shut....removed it and bent bracket in a bit, not all looking great. Have to wait a year the true evaluation. Cuts nice so far.

Steve Nelson

Delivered within 2 and chain in box with saw incurred a 6 dollar shipping charge while saw shipped for free. ...hmmmm
Looks good, assembled well, started quickly, idle and carb adjustments very good, chain oiler works well. Air filter sides do not snap together tighly so might let a bit of dirt in, will need to keep an eye on it. Overall satisfied....asking me in a year or 2 will tell the true story.

Order the bar when palcing the order for the powerhead. Finding one that fits stateside is a challenge. Other that the chain tensioner, the saw works great after cleaning clutch with brake cleaner. It was slipping due to grease in the drum. I bought a bar stateside and had to mill a slot to match up the oiler holes. Using Oregon chain, this thing cuts surprisingly well. Is it for someone who dosen't "tinker"? No. But if you don't mind making a tweak here and there it's a solid value.
