Great saw for a good price. This is my second purchase of this saw. l would buy another price verses perfomance can't be be beat.

Great little saws, have not been able to start the last one yet, just had hand surgery

Jon Cutter 5800
Great saw , pulls my 20 inch full chisel wit no problem , I recommend this saw to anyone needing a light weight good running saw .

The saw runs very well - plenty of power - nice large chips - idles a bit fast, but that will be adjusted when the saw has been run for a while longer. Great value!!

Best saw for the money out there... great power pulls hard and the chain is good quality as well. Take a nice edge and cuts fast.

This saw is excellent!!! So far I've ran three gallons of gas through it this summer no problems. I set mine up with a fancy Oregon 16 bar, running 3/8 .058 full chisel chain (No Low Profile). I cut the baffles out of the muffler for a substantial power increase. I did have to tune the high jet because of this modification and used a tachometer and set it to 10,500 rpm. I love this saw so much I have a brand new unopened one on the shelf I hope I have a life time supply, just fantastic!!!

Fast shipping I got the saw in 6 days it runs great I've put 5 tanks of gas through it cutting firewood and the saw works great lots of power and great balance very happy with all my joncutter chainsaws.

Excellent value. Saw arrived in about 10 days. Was hit up for about $20 brokerage?? (Free shipping)
Saw started up promptly and has been running flawlessly. (8 tanks of fuel)
Good power and balance. This saw feels nimble, lightweight and has excellent power for its size.
I use a 16 inch 3/8 lp B & C set up to cut anything between 8 and 16 inches into 8 inch lengths for my chipper. It cuts fast in this configuration.
I would recommend this saw for fire wood or general cleanup. Great value compared to tools from the big box stores.

I just bought the G5800 Joncutter. It was packaged very well. I have not used it a lot, one tank of gas. What I have cut was dry 3 year old mesquite tree. It went through it with ease. I will be making more purchases. I am think about buying two more saw to include the G660.

I’m impressed so far. It looks right at home next to my little husky.

Purchased this chainsaw off of Amazon for storm damaged (up rooted) trees of 23 inches in diameter. So impressed with feel, power and function. This chainsaw out performed my stihl ms250 that has always been a pain to start let alone idle. I was so impressed I purchased the G2500 as well. I will be doing more business with farmertec for sure.

Daniel Looney

This is an excellent firewood chainsaw! I love the feel and function of this saw. Cut up two 25 inch (storm) up rooted pine tree's. Cut, idled and had more power than my stihl ms250. So impressed I also purchased the G2500 chainsaw.

I bought the John cutter 5800. I really like it more than I expected. Easy starts. Lots of power pulling full chisel chain. I know it’s a Zenoah clone. Owned by huskavana, comparing husky saws to this. The husky 455 rancher is very very close to the same CC and horsepower. Also this saw is not a real high rpm but has great torque. The husky 455 rancher is not a high rpm saw with lots of torque. In my opinion is they are a close match. My only wish is that it had the side chain adjustment. But not a big deal. I would buy this saw all day long.

Phil Villarreal

Second tank in the saw and no more problems. Cutting speed is not tremendously fast, but she has a lot of torque. Just cut up a pickup load of firewood and she burns through some fuel. I run out of oil just before the fuel. I will post more as I break the saw in!

Jason goodwin

58cc version much better quality than expected. Cuts fast great power for its size. Engin runs and sounds like a huskie. Very happy with product.

Jerry Deveau

Fantastic working Saw. Started right up on the third far I have blocked 5 cord and this saw is working well.

Looked forward to giving this saw a good work out... Saw arrived in 10 days and was packed well with no damage... Unboxed saw and put a husky small mount bar on after reading through the manual....Mixed non ethanol high test gas with XP two stroke oil and started saw in seven pulls.. Idled well , throttled up easily and had good power..The saw has plenty of speed and runs well without any high speed adjustments needed yet .. I only have 2 tanks of gas through it at this point so just working on the start of the break-in.. Very satisfied with it so far and would recommend this saw to anyone looking for a good farm saw and firewood saw..Not sure yet on durability compared to my big Jonsered saws but it goes on the tractor with me to the woods along with my other saws.. I will update on performance over the next 6 months.. So far I would shop again with Farmer- Tec with any of their saws....Thanx a bunch for taking the time to read my review.. ...

I bought this chainsaw a couple weeks ago, and I am very happy with it, I am very familiar with chainsaws, I have 13 of them, some of them are Husqvarna 390xp, 550xp, 543xp, 460 rancher, Joncutter G4500, Remington 4318, Poulan 4000,Pioneer farmsaw, ect.
So I have plenty to compare this saw to, I worked this saw very hard for a total of 16 hours over 2-3 day working on 5 foot dia Red Oak tree, and used this Joncutter G5800 too reduce the size of the blocks i was cutting with my 390xp with 32 bar, so I was mainly noodling (cutting with the grain),
The saw did great directly comparing it with my 460 rancher which is 60cc saw, the Joncutter G5800 is actually 54.6cc by the way, the saw has very good torque and pulls well at lower rpm, the power doesn't fall off like my 550xp or 543xp, they only like to be run in the higher rpm range, they have more chain speed but lack the torque at lower rpm. Honesty the 550xp and 543xp are awesome limbing saws but the G5800 is better all round saw I think, it's small and light feeling.
It also starts perfect, one pull when warm, and probably 2-3 pulls until it pops then one pull after you push choke in when cold.
I have zero complaints, I wasn't sure how the Joncutter bar and chain I bought which is very inexpensive would hold up, but it held up exactly as well as the Husqvarna bars and chain, I have probably sharpened the chain 3-4 times now, and Iam very happy with it, and I will be buying more bars and chains from Farmertec.
I also bought a MS440 kit and Holzfforma 25 bar and chain which I have not put together yet, but look forward to that.
I also bought a Joncutter g4500, which I am just as happy with.
Both saws oil very well, no vibration and sound great, I plan on doing a Youtube review on these saws, I am definitely going to buy more from Farmertec, (I have a chainsaw addiction, lol.)
